This is a tremendous deal for someone not interested in brand name products with advertising and brick-n-mortar mark-up. J. Hillig's gear competes favorably with much higher priced components.
Zeke, maybe pop the lid, on each of these, and snap some shots of the internals. John uses quality caps, resistors and huge toroidal power supplies in his smart, straight forward designs.
I have no affiliation with MD or OP, just a lot of experience with his gear (and how it compares to mega-buck brands plaguing the market).
