I need a new remote comtrol as the buttons on the plasticly one I have is about to disintegrate .

Will a remote from another brand do the same job or do I need to buy a new one from RWA, at what price?

You can purchase replacement remotes for Red Wine Audio products from Bent Audio:

On the left hand column, click on "Remote Handsets."

The two-button metal remote will work fine.
