For sale is a Music Reference RM-5 MkIII. This preamp is in very nice cosmetic condition and was recently checked out by Roger Modjeski. The preamp operates to spec and Roger upgraded the most commonly used RCA jacks to the same ones he used on the MkIV version of the preamp. Roger also selected a set of pre-cold war Russian tubes for the preamp. The preamp is extremely quiet, especially the phono section. The tubes should last quite a while as Roger designs circuits to maximize tube life.
