PRICE DROP! SOMEONE BUY THIS THING!?! GREAT PRICE....GREAT AMP! C...MON!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bought direct from DAC 2 weeks ago. Tried to convert to SS but I'm way too addicted to TUBES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FWIW, I have the same amp except in the form of mono blocks; and after many years with many fine tube amps - I've been cured of my tube addiction.  :green:

Why is the King Version in two boxes as the OP states?

It's a separate power supply that gives the amp more power. Technical jargon on DAC web page.

Yes! One VERY special amp indeed. I own the 48v version and it did things to my ZU Audio speakers that I had never heard before. I’m upgrading to the 60v version soon to power my Maggie LRS’s.

Way above my pay grade. I don't think I've read much about a remote option.
