SOLD! Quicksilver V4 Monoblocks with KT150s SOLD!

SOLD!

Much has been said about Quicksilver over the years. Mike Sanders makes terrific amplifiers that not only sound fabulous but are known for their outstanding reliability. This is my third pair of "Quickies". These are an older pair so the rated power with the KT150 tubes is 120 watts each, that's from 20 to 20k. I spoke with Mike and he said they are probably good for 140 watts if you bump bandwidth to 30 to 20k. Regardless, these sound great with both authority and finesse.

They are in very nice condition with a couple of scuffs on the transformer covers and the nickle finish is ever so lightly pitted here and there. No rust. A solid 7/10 if not better. The tubes bias and hold and will only need checking once a month. Easy to do with the on board meter. One tube has a broken pin but it works fine and I will mark it so it can be easily installed. I will also include a brand new KT150 so you can replace it if you want.

I'm only selling because I bought a pair of Manley Neo Classic 250s and just don't need these anymore.

Asking $3200 obo including Paypal and FedEx shipping to CONUS. Insurance and tracking included.

Comes with new boxes, packing material, and power cords.

Thanks for looking!

Absolutely! Basically the EL34 family although best to check with Mike Sanders for the details on type and biasing. I ran some Gold Lion KT77s for a bit but found that the KT150s gave me the same mids with much better bass and dynamics. The KT150 tubes have been touted as EL34s on steroids. I would concur.

Good. Giving them consideration. You posted them 2 days after I paid for some OTL amps which I have not fired up yet. I really had my eye on QS before that.
