What is the flat out cheapest way to a great transport?

I assume that this would be achieved with a Tosh 3960 and some basic mods, but what mods would address the digital out only?
Do any of you modders out there offer a digital out only mod package for the 3960? Maybe a clock upgrade or something?

dont think the mods for the 3950 address the digital side-

not sure if anyone did a clock in one-check the aa digital forum and do a search-should be about 30-50 pages or so
i still use the one that started it all

Start with power supply filtering/decoupling. Then you'd want to clean up the digital out signal path.
