These are a pair of wonderful, handmade hybrid planar speakers made for me by Greg at GT Audio a few years ago. They are in as-purchased, like new condition. The latest version of these speakers (GTA2.5) received a gold award at the 2015 Capital Audio Fest. After that review they went back to Greg for some further driver upgrades.

Greg is selling his latest version of these speakers for $9,000. I am asking $2,500 for these, but am open to offers - they deliver about 95% of his latest model, but at a fraction of the price. I'm only selling these myself to have Greg build me a pair of the new GTA2.5's, but this is your chance to get a truly audiophile speaker at a great price.

The speakers are now up and running in my system, so interested (serious) buyers are welcome to stop by to audition.

What exactly is the difference between these and the new GTA3 besides price? BTW, did these ever sell?

So sorry, ianderson. Been traveling a bunch for work and not on AC. Greg did some changes to the drivers. He can tell you more about the changes - I'm not too technical! I have his new speakers now and they sound great, though these are still close. And no, they have not sold. Many bites from folks - even came to terms with one guy and arranged for shipping after he asked me to find someone but then he just disappeared!

And looking to upgrade my vinyl rig, so one more shot at selling these at $1800! Can't go any lower than that!
