JSE Model 1 floor standing loudspeakers. In case you haven't heard of these, they use the same infinite slope crossover technology as Joseph Audio loudspeakers. JSE made a bit of a splash in the late 80's before going out of business. The technology was so impressive that Jeff Joseph got rights to it and used it for his new company, Joseph Audio. The Model 1 is a 2 1/2 way design using a Dynaudio D28 soft dome tweeter with a 6" and 8" woofers. The 8" woofer rolls off in the midrange. I am the original owner, having bought these in 1985. They've been lightly used for the last 10 years as I've moved on to other more expensive speakers and gave these to my parents.  They're now down sizing and need something a bit smaller.

Speakers are located in New Jersey, about half way between New York City and Philadelphia.  I don't want to ship them, so local buyers are strongly encouraged.

These cost $800 back in the 80s, so the equivalent cost of a new speaker would be well over a thousand.  I'd like to get $400 for them.  See the audiogon ad for some pictures.

Thanks,
---Gary

Here is a picture of one of the speakers.  The images are a bit blurry but I can get better photos if there is interest.  The wood veneer is a nice Oak with a color closest to what you see in the center image.

These are very nice speakers for not much money.
