Selling my favorite speakers ever. After years of non-use (stored in a spare room, out of the sun), they need a new home. The unique Gallo Nucleus Reference II is a masterpiece of form and function - each speaker consists of 2 spun aluminum balls housing 2 custom Dynaudio 17W75 XL drivers, and those are topped by a CDT (cylindrical diaphragm transducer) tweeter. A crossover-less full range design, the sound is both massive and sublime. These speakers are a solid work of art, and sound amazing with both tube and solid state amps - I had them paired with some OTL tube amps and it was magic.

There are a few imperfections in the anodizing, and there is one tiny chip, one very small dent, and one tiny scratch. The tweeters (which are silver) show minor oxidation (which does not affect the sound). They still look quite good - please see the photos for a pretty thorough survey.
Two of the speaker binding posts have loosened a little - I have fixed them so that there is no play in the posts, but care must be taken when connecting speaker wire (bare wire or spades) to not over-tighten (banana connections are fine).
None of these minor issues affect the sound.
They are available for local pick-up in San Francisco, or, for the right buyer, delivery nearby (~40mi) could be possible.
