Do your research before YOU buy !!! Goggle the speakers and read reviews. FUN journey !!!

- have 2 pair - one with white speaker cloth and one without.

- With White grille Cloth -  $265.00.

.... if you want to restore to original foam grille : deduct $20.00 for White grille cloth.

- buy both pairs without cloth for - $460.00

.. Own a piece of audio history. A must try speaker from the Golden Past. Hard to come by. I have owned their little brothers, the QED's , basically a half of a Time Window, for 45 years ( used in HT setup now) and still sound great. I also owned Time Windows 1, 1a and 3's over the years , but settled on Maggies MG I's (from the 70's) but rebuilt. Unfortunately the Maggies need a subwoofer to excel.

- wood tops in excellent condition - All drivers WORK perfectly and sound great.

- easy restoration to near MINT for little investment in grill foam.

- They can handle 200 watts easily and really come alive with 100 watts and above.. Great for all types of MUSIC including LOUD Rock from the 70's.

- One set is Shabby Sheik, in appearance, with NEW white grille cloth wrapped 3/4's away around. If you want to restore to original, you can order enough Foam grille below for less than $20.00
Order FULL sheet - 72"x48" x 1/4" = $16.99 per pair.

.. Beside being awesome speakers, They also make great pedestals for sculpture or plant stands. In present stage you can customize them to fit into any decor and make your own fashion statement.

- Awesome SOUND for a loft space or high ceilings !!!!

- Do your research. They sold for $800.00 in early 80's. In today's market would take $1600.00 and up. A classic speaker - way ahead of its time.

Specifications:

Dimensions:36"H x 14 3/4"W x 11 3/4"D
Weight:32 Pounds
Power Requirements:10 Watts Minimum per channel 89 dB/watt at one meter;200 Watts Maximum
Impedance:5 Ohms minimum/6-8 Ohms nominal
Frequency Range:25Hz to 18 kHz
Dispersion:180 degrees horizontal/60 degrees vertical.

Specifications do not tell the whole story, listening does. The Time Windows due to their configuration can be literally tuned to any room. That is due to their shape. This was a brilliantly executed design that has remained faithful all these years.

  • Virna!
I owned a pair of Time Windows some time ago but from hanging around here too much, I decided I could do better and now my daughter has them but I don't think she even listens to them.

But whatever model I actually had, they don't look like the ones in the OP's pics???

....for those who inquired  !!!!

.. The Pioneer HTM 100's ( 200watt  are on HOLD!!!

A friend dropped off a few pairs of speakers he had stored. The Time Windows and Polk SDA CRS+ speakers are hooked up.

The HTM 100's weigh in at 60lbs apiece. Too much for my ole bones to move in and out. Said that all drivers work. Cabinets VG.

Just need to test them.

I have heard these speakers and they are just one of those things that happen it does what it does in a way nothing else does it, Roxy Music's Avalon took on almost surreally beautiful dimensions, as well, the byrds Wasn't born to follow was the only time the spinning Leslie speakers were spining on a recording as well.

if rubber surrounds are good,  you will have a play toy for gifted listeners
