I just got this but I need to sell....I am no longer working teaching, so things will get tight.
This is the blurb from the auction.
"Pilot 246 Integrated Amplifier that has been serviced and is deemed to be in good working order. This was pulled from a console and has been serviced by one of our technicians. There is a picture of the parts that have been replaced, and a picture of the chassis showing the new capacitors. It has been play tested with a turntable and aux input for several days and played sound on both channels with no distortion, hum, or crackle of any kind. The faceplate is not attached to the chassis and will need to be mounted in some fashion. You will receive a bag with the parts that have been replaced. The amplifier is sold as a working piece and should be a lovely piece for those that like the vintage sound."
I probably will have a chance to test it myself, so I will add my impressions. I paid 549.00 plus 50 for shipping.
