This is a hand built passive preamp/attenuator which uses top quality parts throughout. Simple design with the shortest signal path possible. Uses Goldpoint V24 50K 24-step mono attenuators, Cardas GRFA RCA jacks, 22ga silver wire, etc. Even the knobs are quality ... the excellent Goldpoint 1.4" dia. solid aluminum knobs. It is housed in a 12" x 9" x 2" wood enclosure, and it is dead quiet. It is configured with 3 inputs and 1 output. The front toggle is wired to switch between my DAC (up position) and my phono stages (down position). The rear toggle switches between the 2nd and 3rd input, which let me connect my MM and MC phono stages. This is a nice set-up, as I can flip the front toggle to the DAC position when I flip a record over so I don't have to readjust the volume controls. I have almost $400 in parts in this passive and am asking $400, so get the labor for free! It is less than 1 month old. The only reason for the sale is that I've decided I need some additional gain in my system. Let me know if you have any questions. I will ship for free in the CONUS.
