Selling my Focusrite RedNet D16. This is an ethernet to SPDIF converter that beats any USB based chain you can assemble. It uses Dante Virtual Soundcard to allow ASIO to communicate over TCPIP to the D16 ethernet input which then has AES, SPDIF(BNC), and fiber output to your DAC. If you have been following the Head-Fi RedNet thread then you will know what the D16 is capable of.

The D16 has two ethernet ports unlike the RN3 and also supports 176.4K which the RN3 does not. The D16 has two ethernet ports allowing you to use one to connect to your LAN and the other to connect to your PC/server. It also has the newest firmware which allows sample rate following.

I have owned this unit about 4 months and it is "as new" condition. I have another D16 in my speaker system and am only selling this one in order to buy new speakers to let more of the magic out of that system.

I am asking for $1195 plus shipping and PayPal.The unit goes for $1600 shipped new from Sweetwater.

Sorry. I will only ship to the lower 48 US states.

Comes with original boxing and packing.

Best,

Paul

(It is the red unit below. The other equipment is not part of it.)
