Who is this??

Any help identifying the singer/album here??  She sings "I say a little prayer" and "Orange Colored Sky". Single guitar accompanies  her.

That could be Tuck and Patti but the singers voice on that song doesn’t sound quite
right to be Patti’s. Patti’s voice is normally a little deeper. I looked on the internet and
couldn’t find them doing that particular song on any of their albums..

Good guesses, but I don't think we've cracked it yet. I have searched on Tuck-Patti and Aretha but am not finding these versions with an accompanying solo guitar.  Love to find out who this is, as I have Maggies in my system.

have you tried Shazam, an app that is pretty good at identifying songs.  I will try it at home when I get there but if you are where you can listen to music, try to identify with Shazam. I actually got it to correctly identify a Grateful Dead tune, in the middle of an extended solo, and it identified the song and the live concert/cd it came from.

Tough. Wiki doesn't show many versions of Orange Colored Sky.


It does sound a bit like Dionne Warwick though.

I agree the match is very close. But if this is Lianne, I can't find what recording this could be. The OP sounds studio, not live, and I cannot find any link to her singing Orange Colored Sky.   No luck as yet from the AC Jazz Circle or the original YouTube post.  I continue to search.  No luck in my hands using Shazam, either.

Any additional help is appreciated.
