Has anyone heard any of the re-releases of Kansas LP's that came out in 2013? In particular, the self titled first album. Looking at the Discog notes on this release, I suspect these are just a straight repressing without remastering or remixing. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers..

I have never found Discogs to be a good source for info like this. My go to sites are Steve Hoffman and Analog Planet if Michael did a review. Next I just Google. If it is the Friday Music reissue, it is probably remastered. I have had mixed results with Friday Music.

Thanks. Yes, it was the Friday Music release. Checked SH and they had a thread on Friday Music. From reading that I have decided to go original pressing. I have a few on my ebay watchlist atm (I'm in Oz). Bit dear but not a lot more than a new one. Cheers...
