Saturday night my wife and I went to the Tulsa symphony. It's always nice to hear music performed live by high caliber musicians but the second half of the concert was a special treat. The piece was Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto in D major. The special treat was the soloist, Joshua Bell. This young man makes the violin sing, dance, sigh, cry and whisper. Added to his skill was the character from his 300 year old Stradivarius. Great time.
