Hello from Montreal, Qc., Canada

Found this web site via a post from F1 on the Polk Audio discussion group, who buys part from Audio Circle.

Over 30 years ago, my first modification was to increase the capacitance of an amplifier with great sonic improvement. That really got me started and I more or less constantly kept changing  my audio system and modding equipment. At one point, I had added to  my Citation 16 amplifier, 4 large capacitors of 37,000 uf. Later I had 4 Citation16 amps, all in bridged mode to drive my Ar9 tower speakers.

I also like to modify turntables. My first real serious TT was when I bought Oracle turntable parts (platter, motor, spindle, belt) from the then owner of the company. I made a turntable with the parts, based on a non floating solid plinth.
Years later, having sold the first Oracle, I bought a used Oracle turntable and modified it into an 80 pound project.  At one point I was using 3 motors to turn the perimeter of the Oracle TT, using all kinds of belt material.

Along the way, I kept adding more output capacitance to preamps, phono preamps and the like while also rebuilding/refurbishing my Citation16 amplifiers.

Lately, in the past few years, I discovered the wonderful world of tube amplification. Not much modifications there, but a lot of tube rolling.. Oh, I did add output capacitors to a Cary dual mono tube preamp.

Having recently changed my old AR9 tower speakers, I bought the Polk RTA9 tower speakers. I then found the Polk discussion group mentioning this web site, Audio Circle, for part to upgrade the crossover.

I'm fairly new here myself, but welcome aboard! AR9s--wow, I had a pair back in the day. They completely overwhelmed the tiny room into which I crammed them! Given the proper space, they probably sounded great!

Thank you for your warm welcomes  :D
I am still new to this site and have to find my way around  :duh:
Bought some film caps from Sonic Craft with the great help of Martin.
Will report later after I install them in my RTiA9 speakers..
