Hi all,

I put together the kit and enjoyed having tube sound on my boat with solar power as this amp runs off 12 volts via battery or 110 volt brick. I no longer live on the boat or in the US so I am selling the amp and power supply. It is at the home of a friend in Key Largo, FL and will be shipped from there. Included are the original matched pair of Siemans PCL 86 tubes and 2 matched pairs of Polam/Telam replacements. The amp was sent back to Victor of vkmusic.com who sells the kit for verification after I soldered the kit. All is working. You will get at least 1 watt before distortion, so is best for 90 dB or higher efficiency speakers and near-field listening

There are two inputs. One 1/8" jack on the front for ipod, etc, and two RCAs on the back for DAC, CD/DVD etc. Sound is very clear and detailed. Sound is not 'tubey' or slow. Very nice for desktop, nearfield use. Footprint is a little larger than a CD case so takes up very little room on your desktop...Unassembled tube dampers included as well as a 6ft chord to hook up to battery.
