HT passthrough?

Just a quick question, to see if any of the preamps that you produce, are compatible with combining 2 channel with HT, and incorporate a HT pass-thru?

I do note that a remote is now optional for the preamps, does it operate just the volume of the units, or does it also work for inputs etc?

Sorry for all the Q's, but I am saving for a tube based preamp, and notice that yours seems to have most of what I am looking for...

Our EC series preamps have a switchable External Processor Loop for HT use.  The connections are:  all normal two channel sources into the preamp, EPL output from preamp to Spare or Aux  stereo inputs on HT processor, Left and Right main line outputs on HT unit into EPL inputs on preamp, preamp feeds main left and right channel power amp and speakers.  With ELP button out, HT processor is completely disconnected and you have a pure two channel high fidelity system.  With EPL button pressed in, HT system is in the loop, but the main left and right speakers are still fed from highest quality electronics.  Use the volume control on the preamp to match levels with the other HT channels and then use HT multichannel volume control for overall system level settings.

Our remote volume controls any source connected to the preamp from any of its inputs.  It is done with a custom made very high quality motor driven pot to avoid any signal degradation.

Thanks for your interest.

Frank, how does this differ from other mfgr's HT bypass which is basically left and right processor outputs into preamp.?The bypass mode (switch) then bypasses the preamp volume control and feeds straight to the outputs.

Thanks,
