My guess is about 2004-2005. I have a pair of original Super 3's that came with the same Fostex drivers that date to 2003 or so. These appear to be the upgraded model with the flared port and magnetic grills (missing). They can be upgraded with RS5 drivers (I did mine for about $110 from Louis) and you have what is essentially a wide baffle version of the current Super 3 for about half the price. The wide baffles work a bit better without a subwoofer and when placed closer to the wall. I also have a pair of Super Alnico's with real wood zebrawood. It is a very nice finish (those these may be laminate).

... This pair is from around 2007. Bought from a friend retiring South. He had them stored for several years because of a move. These have the real WOOD veneer in MINT condition. They do have, as stated in quote above, the magnets to hold the grills on. You can probably order grills if you like from the manufacture. Welcome to audition them in DC 20017 area.
I bought these to play with the Chinese hybrid integrated tube amp ( Nobsound MS-10D ). This amp is just stored by me and soon will be gone. I use Maggie MG I restored as my main speakers. And I can't believe these little boxes can preform as they do.
