I know that there are some good sites that describe the construction and placement of these resonators for specific low frequency control.  However, I can't seem to locate the good ones I once had bookmarked.  Any ideas to point me in the right direction?  Thanks.

Dave,

One site you'll find useful is the AES Institute's Acoustics pages written by John Sayers:

I have to mention that Helmholtz resonators are not the best approach for smallish rooms. Broadband absorption is a much better choice because it addresses all the problem frequencies, not just one.
