Anyone heard this amp?

Didn't someone try this one a while back?

As I recall it was a cheap compact stereo, with masonite back, 22 gauge wires, and was not digital.

(But my memory isn't the best.)

I have a Sharp SD-SG11 in front of me right now (driving a pair of Ascend Acoustics HTM-200s). I got it around a year ago when they were closing them out. I think it's a great little receiver for an office or bedroom. Yes, they are digital amps.

Nah, this isn't that scam from a few months ago. Sharp does actually make digital amps. I've heard that they're making a new integrated unit that takes sacd and dvda direct digital into the amp.

This is this probably the SD-HX500. I ordered one last week.

There are several thread in AC about Sharp digital amps.

That's the one I was talking about. I went and got one but I didn't get it at that price!

It's for my mom so I can live with it. If I like it enough I can always get another one for that low price.

I'll let everyone know how it breaks in. So far out of the box it has a nice sound but it does need to fill out.
