Photos of the Bryston 4B3 amplifier that just arrived.

I particularly like the balanced input jacks. They lock and release very easily. Having all of the switches and the unlock tabs at the top is convenient.

They're set up with Acoustic Zen Crescendos. Which are the best sounding speakers I've heard. :D

After running the amp for about 10 hours with continuous music at decent listening volumes, they got warm but not hot to the touch.

The amplifier is very clean and transparent. There is greater detail, particularly low volume detail which is now easier to hear or notice even during loud passages. The decay is very good, and measures better than the previous amp. The sonic character of the DAC is coming through more accurately and precisely now. Dirac Live RCS has less of an impact on the overall sound character and quality than before, indicating there is less adjustment or correction necessary (obviously it is still correcting for the room and the electronics chain as a whole). Overall excellent sound quality.
