Wow, if that's your garage system ~ your house system must be killer!  I really dig tweed laminate, is has this mid century modern vibe to it.

House system is Altec 604H in 6 cubic foot enclosures, augmented by dual subs (JL 12W6) and powered by 300B sweetness.  Classic sources:  Rega P3 with Dynavector 10X4 and NAD CeeDee player feeding a TEAC UD-301.  The garage/shop system is my favorite, though, listening to SACD & DVD-A on an old Oppo 971 and streaming FLAC & 24/192 with a Logitech Squeezebox feeding a TEAC UD-501.  Love these Super 3XRS!!

Many thanks for your post and welcome. Both your systems are great and I'm very happy you love your 3 XRS's. Your Sun Audio 2A3 brings back fond memories. I had one too and should have never sold it.

Thanks for the kind words, Louis.  My 2A3 is only a Sun clone, but it sounds quite nice and mates very well with the Super 3XRS.  I'm astonished that this simple set-up is able to achieve such a high level of musical magic.
I'm now looking for a used pair of Super Alnico Monitors or something similar with great imaging (for a 300B based system).  Thanks for putting together such SET friendly, nicely designed & well-engineered speakers.

Great to hear and Super 3 XRS and 2A3's are great matches.

I actually have a mint set of Demo Super Alnico Monitors with new drivers in Level 2 Walnut.

They will sound great with your 300B.
