SOLD: iFi iUSB power and Dual headed cable

~~~SOLD~~~Up for sale is my iFi micro iUSB audio power supply with dual headed Gemini USB cable.

I used it with my Audioengine D1 DAC and $30 Koss 'phones. Even with modest phones, the sound was cleaner with increased detail. I've lost desk space so this guy has to go.

In the interest of full disclosure., the mounding of one usb socket is a little loose. It's only the mounting, not the actual connector;  that fits tight and works perfectly. Works great with WIN 10 and Apple systems.

Complete with original boxes, USB cable and USB adapter.

New these guys were about $400.

Priced at $125 with CONUS shipping.

I recently sold one of these. They work great. GLWS.

I don't understand the obsession people have with USB3.0. For audio, 2.0 is plenty fast enough. For data read/writes to an external hard drive, yes, USB3.0 is much faster and therefore preferred. Can't understand why audio signal transfer needs the additional speed. Perhaps someone could enlighten me.

I believe it is about the bandwidth. Theoretically, if the bandwidth is infinite then the jitter iz zero even if there is significant amount of LF/HF noise. Of course, there is no such thing as infinite bandwidth. But if the bandwidth is improved 4 times while noise remains the same then such cable will have lower jitter than the other one. If a competitor cable reduces noise 20 times while the bandwidth is 4 times less than the high bandwidth cable, that cable will still exhibit lower jitter.
