I was happy to discover that my BOT-1 will happily rip CD's to my external SSD while I'm playing my HiRez files from the same drive via my BDP-2 to BDA-3. Nice way to pass the time, as ripping can be a somewhat slow process (about 10-15 minutes per CD on average).
