This was very well done . The lead actress won the Academy Award. She was great in it, but I'm surprised they gave it to a lead in a very dark movie like this .
The little boy was fantastic as well. Overall a very good movie , with some very intense scenes. Some things are a bit predictable.
After reading the first few sentences of a review, I agree that the second half of the movie does not live up to the first half.
I would give this movie a score of 85%.
