NEW MEMBER

Hi,
My name is Bill Jackson and live in Dallas TX with my wife, Mary, and a Ragdoll cat named Biscuit. We enjoy listening to vinyl records, mostly classical, jazz, and country. My interest in equipment is limited to vintage, tube stuff. Recently I picked up a Dynaco FM-3 tuner and SCA-35 integrated amp and am in the process of rebuilding the tuner using info from AudioCircle and other websites. After this project is completed I plan to start on the amp. I'm sure I'll be asking a lot of questions and look forward to getting to know members with interests similar to mine.

Greetings & Welcome to AC Billyvan (& family)   :thumb:  Not a big country fan except for the original 'outlaws', but do have a soft spot for Texas Swing. If you aren't already familiar with them you might want to check out Asleep At The Wheel. Good stuff imo.  8)

Western Swing is my favorite, too! Been listening to it since I first heard Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys back in the 50s. Got to see the Wheel at the Texas State Fair a few years; think I have all their CDs.
