Omega DeepHemp Cube subwoofer - amp issues
« on: 14 May 2016, 02:44 am »
Recently, one of my Omega DeepHemp Cubes every once in a while starts "chuffing." Basically a loud, low back and forth vibration that can increases in volume. Sometimes if I turn the unit off, let it rest and then turn it back - it's okay. Other times not. I suspect that its the amp that's starting to have problems.

Has anyone encountered this and if so thoughts on what to do? Contact Omega for a replacement plate amp?

Thanks!

Plate amps, for whatever reason, tend to go bad with much higher frequency than other electronics (from what I've seen and experienced). The good thing is that they are usually easy / inexpensive to repair / replace. Louis will help you out.
