The linear power supply is internal.  I think rif was just quoting the specs of the CDA-224 amplifier module where it mentions power supply requirements.

That is correct, I just cut and pasted the info.  If you want details about this PS, I can open it up again and look. 

You're getting a complete amp -plug in the power cord, connect preamp and speakers.  That's it.
