Hello Alex I like photo but my skills are very limited, I think I normally have an awful composition sense for pictures...
Anyway this was taken by a Jenoptik JD 3.3 z3 camera from Germany, nothing special with 3.3Mpx, 3x and macro, 2 and 10 seconds timer, flash, flash fill, and manual and automatic modes.
When I shot in automatic the flash almost always is required by the camera control , but then the light is just over one spot area and it washes the rest in near shots, so I placed the speaker over a white blanket in my table and I lifted/hanged the blanket also for the background.
Later I did several shots, without flash because as I do not have lamps I had two options with flash or exposure compensation/ISO adjusting/exposition.
In the end I think I adjusted the camera to ISO 100, 1 second shot and +0.3 compensation.
Later with the very well contrasted edge between speaker and background it was a snap to cut the speaker image in Ace Design Pro (very similar to Photoshop).
By the way I had no tripode I just placed the camera over some foam pieces have here but this Saturday I bough a better small tripode so more shots are coming for other products.
