Carnegie Acoustics Davanti

Has anyone heard the Carnegie Acoustics Davanti on the GR Research website?
Did Danny have any input on the design on these speakers?

Are they comparable to the XLS-Encores?

Does it have the same drivers as the XLS?

It appears it has a high quality crossover and looking through the rear port it may have some No-Res installed.

I just can’t find much information on them.

I don't remember Danny ever talking about them directly.
But looking at the drivers, the appears to have the same tweeter as the older AV123 products, like the X-LS Classic, or the current A/V products.

Considering it's new "old-stock" much like the CST1s that sold out, I imagine there isn't any norez. It's more than likely the dense paper that was found in the CST1s. I could be wrong tho.

That said, I imagine they still sound fantastic, considering their original MSRP.

They are the same cabinet as the AV1. (Basically) The drivers are replicas of a Danny design. They are copies of the AV1.

They do not have No-Rez. They also have air core inductors, lynx resistors and normal polycaps (not sonicaps).

They also have clip on connectors to the drivers. So it is recommended to open em up and solder the leads on at minimum.

Here is a pic of the cross over

Good bang for the buck certainly. Well made cabinets that are braced super well.
