1) 1947 recording of Stokowski doing Beethoven's 9th.  One record is cracked but the rest feels like 400 gram short play 33 1/3.  Seems like a fun find!  They need a bath however. 

Is there a good resource on finding the definitive recording for certain pieces?  I know taste is subjective, but I'm a sucker for RCA living stereo, and in particular the Reiner version of Scheherazade.

Ant resources you could push me towards would be great.

If you are a RCA fan, find a copy of James Mitchelll's The Golden Era of RCA Records  I think they are available at Irvington Music.  This is a great resource, and gratefully, not many collectors know about it.  While you're at the Irvington web site, peruse their offerings.  I buy a lot of records from them.
