Due to personal reasons I am liquidating my system.
I have a pair of these for sale. I bought the first one from an AC'er used. It is mfg date circa 2008,2009. It came with Bybee, V-cap upgrades. I loved it and read so much about the these in Mono block config...I ordered another one from Spectron in about 2010. The back panel on the first one reads MK2 and the newer one reads Signature.(pictured) When I ordered the second one from Spectron...I was told it was identical to the first one in every way. At the time they had just come out with the fuse upgrade and I asked about converting my first amp and ordering the second one with. They convinced me it was not worth the trouble and money to do so.
I used these to power my Von Schweikert VR-4 Jr MkIII. I had Spectron make a special pair of remote sense speaker cables using the same wire Albert uses in his MKIII upgrade. It is a single crystal 12 awg cable made by Delphi. Since I prefer to biwire...I made a pair of std stereo cables using the same wire for my application. This cable is not availible for purchase ...but I acquire from someone who had spent a lot of money with Albert was offered this as a concession. This configuration was decided after a lot of conversation Simon Thatcher who was very familiar with all the equipment I was using...and also somewhat of a consultant for Spectron.
As a value added bonus for AC'ers and someone willing to take both amps I am including the speaker cables in the sale. Also included are the inter connects I used with Y connectors. The Ic's are Grover Huffman rca. Speaker cables are 1M and Ic's are 3M.
These were used lightly in a smoke free house. These are as close to perfect condition as you will find.
