Almost pulled the trigger but at 94 db eff. compared to the 102 db of my Beyer T5Ps I would not get the volume without an amp. I do have a JDS C5D portable amp but never seem to use it and go directly out of my computer headphone output. Oh, well.

A friend of mine picked up a pair in the first drop... I got to try them for a couple of days, they were very nice.

I'm in this drop, which is still open... Massdrop/Fostex added another 950 units.  As of this writing, there are about 600 left, with 4 days to go if you want to give it a try.
