Rob,

Are the Pulsars the cryo version?  How many hours are on them?

I found that they needed a lot of hours on them before they were done getting better.

Sounds like a fun afternoon (I am having my own get together this afternoon with my two boys!!  Looks like they both like Johnny Cash and Nirvana Unplugged).

Pulsar are Cryo'd with WBT Nextgen Coppers.

They will only have about 44 hours of break in on them.  I know they need at least 100 and 300-400 hours would be better.

That will be duly noted and I will give a follow up in a few weeks when they are better broken in.

I just bought the Johny Cash Anthology DVD.  I saw it two nights ago for the first time.  Recommended for the JC lover.  It was a bit short in length, and had a lot of interviews.  It also had him singing about 10 songs.
It was very enjoyable.

Eric left just a bit ago.

We listened to the speakers, recorded an LP that needed recording, and did an experiment with me recording at 12X speed with Exact Audio Copy (EAC) and him using his Pioneer 739 recorder.

CD-R's were Matsui's.

His Pioneer crushed my computer run EAC :-(

Eric wants to start a new post regarding the speakers.  That should be done in the next day or two and I will post my thoughts when the thread is started.

We did not have a chance to listen to and compare cables :-(

Hello all,

I wish I could have attended the Hiderfest, it sounds like it was a really enjoyable time, and only about 1 1/2 hours away!  :D   Unfortunately I had some other plans already made.  :(  As it turns out Steve Rothermal lives about five miles from me :!:   His Sason speakers are temporally in my dedicated sound room being very much appreciated. After the audition and some analytical time I'll post my thoughts!
Best regards to all…
