$425 Originally these came with the Fostex 4.5" drivers. When Louis introduced the hemp drivers, I sold the Fostex units and replaced all four drivers with the hemps. The 4.5" hemps were notorious for their long break-in time. The new owner can rest assured that these speakers have been
thoroughly broken in and they sound great

. Nice deep and wide soundstage.
Over the years they've taken a few knocks and have sustained some relatively minor damage as depicted in the photos. I recently refinished them with a 100% natural oil (Rubio's Monocoat) which blended with the original finish so well that I suspect that Louis used the same finish. One of the grills has a small abrasion which doesn't show up well in the photo. Overall, the speakers are very presentable.
Included are two pairs of 80% wool diffraction pads which can be attached with Velcro and two sided tape.
The stands are about 15" high without spikes (not included). Spikes will add about an inch and they, of course, can be tilted. I've filled them with sand for mass. The good thing about these stands is that they're almost full width and are flush with the baffles thereby providing the "beard" effect which extends the bass output of the drivers.
The speaker can be run bipole or dipole, 4 ohm or 16 ohm according to how the included jumper cables are hooked up. I suppose you could biamp them @ 8 ohms too.
I'll probably ship them in two boxes. If the buyer wants the stands, it'll be $50 extra. I'll send a third box.
The speakers are about 40 lbs. each. The stands are about 13 lbs. each . I'm a conscientious packer.
$425 obo + shipping/insurance. Paypal preferred...I'll pay the 3%. I'm located in Washington State. Buyer pickup OK.
