I have a nice Sansui TU-717 tuner that has been re-capped (Panasonic) and calibrated. Additionally, all the lights have been cleaned and/or replaced, the switches have been cleaned, the RCA outputs have been swapped for gold-plated RCAs, the wire between the RCAs and the analog circuity has been replaced, the power cord has been replaced with Signal Audio power cable.
The front of the tuner is in great condition, however the sides and top have some minor scratches.
The Sansui was listed as the 17th best analog tuner tested by the FM Tuner Guide. "17: Sansui TU-717 - Good bass and midrange with nice "depth" to the soundstage." The tuners rated higher are either very expensive or unobtainable.
