  • To whom more was given more will be required.
    • Never go to a psychiatrist, adopt a straycat or dog. On the street they live only two years average.

Thanks for the welcome.
Yes on Missouri, hence the name MOJoWales.
I had a few exchanges with one of the St.Louis members here last year but only now got around to joining.
Looking forward to soaking up some knowledge from those with more experience than myself.

We seem to be getting quite a few new members these past few weeks. Seems like a good trend!

Welcome aboard!

Well, I might have grown up somewhere between you two, population 32 on Sunday, have witnessed grown men argue how Missouri should be pronounced... :green:

I know there are more tech savy audiophile inclined hillbillies than the greater population is aware of.  Scattered about the stereotypes for sure, but we're not mythical.

Actually just moved to the greater St.Charles area from Mid MO.  I hope to have a new dedicated listening area set up before the end of the year so it's a good opportunity to consider additions/changes to my gear.

As a rule, I'll be researching more, posting less, but I'll try to add anything of relevance I can.

I wish the Royals the best but it would be hypocritical for me to jump on the bandwagon as a cradle-to-grave red-bird fan.  But, now that I'm in Cardinal Nation ground zero the contrarian in me wants to break out some Royal blue.  It might be the mule in me.  :icon_twisted:
I have some Royal die-hard friends and I couldn't be happier for them.  They are due, regardless of the controversy surrounding their last championship  :duh:.  I hope to be sending congratulatory beverages shortly.

Thanks for the welcomes,

MOJoWales

Welcome Mojowales.  I just signed up today also.  I was on a forum from The Absolute Sound but nobody is there anymore.  Just a graveyard now.
This place has lots of activity and many members.  I'm glad to be here.
Messaging here from Los Angeles.  San Pedro actually.  The port of LA.

St. Charles, huh? You're surrounded by audiophiles. As far as "researching more, posting less", there are sporadic and periodic get-togethers in the STL area. The official STL area of this website is called "The Gateway Audio Society", located >HERE<. We call ourselves "GAS", which has nothing to do with fuel or what we had for dinner last night. For the most part, we're fairly harmless. Some are kinda quirky though. It won't take long to figure out who the odd ones are.

Easy, MisourEEEE

If you're from the west side of the state, those slack jawed morons pronounce it Missour-uh....as in duh.

I can get away with typing that since I have a second office in KC and spend half my time over there. </sarc>
