Quick intro. I have been a member of several well-known audio DIY forums and am interested in woodwork, speaker building, listening and playing music (guitar and Uke) and enjoy both live and recorded jazz, blues, adult contemporary, country, folk, world music and most other genres of music apart from heavy metal
Just realised that I needed to register on Audiocircle if I wanted to search threads, but I might be tempted to post if I get more time. -- where I have been a long-term lurker and occasional poster of questions and proposed projects and occasional finished projects. I was originally inspired by the earlier frugalphile philosophy of Planet10 in that other place, but find that I have continued his principles by being even cheaper in my components and builds using recycled components as much as possible. I acknowledge the great work of the members of all the above forums that has made it possible for me to build acceptably listenable equipment for musical enjoyment.
