Perfect Audiophile Dusting Brush

I could not figure out where to put this so I thought HMMM, $7.99 that is cheap.  And since I got mine with a 20% off coupon it was even cheaper and I was certainly cheerful.     Moderator, please free to move if you know of a better fit.

I only found this model at Bed, Bath, & Beyond.

It is great for dusting the top of equipment that is close to the shelf above it.  It also dusts under my equipment with footers.  My multi-layer rack shelves have black granite as the top layer so they show dust immediately as does my equipment which is all black. It is actually fun dusting with this brush because it does such a good job and gets into almost everywhere I need it to.  I love mine.

Did I call it the "perfect audiophile tool".  It does not show separately in the picture but the gray end of the handle is actually a smaller version of the brush that can be pulled out to clean your ears!!!!  Is that perfect or what?  :jester:

While I am on the topic of cheap cleaners:  I always use 91% isopropyl alcohol. I think it is less than $1 and one bottle lasts so long I forgot the price. I do not use rubbing alcohol because it has moisturizers in it. Cleaners with ammonia scare me although I know others use them all the time.  My equipment is black.  I wipe it down when it is new or after return from servicing. Then I wear white cotton gloves when handling it.  I keep a picture of a severed finger near my equipment so my friends know what not to do.  :nono:

My audio equipment is cleaner than my kitchen.

I'm going to have to get one of those, that looks like it'll come in handy.
Thanks for the tip!

Me too.  Do you have a link for a severed finger photo?  :thumb:

Hi Don,
Does your new brush work as well as a Swiffer?

Absolutely fits in C&C, great idea.  I have a similar duster with removable pads that is much shorter, yours looks better.

I am glad others are finding my suggestion useful.

Is a swifter just a flat sheet?  I use something with long microfibers to clean my equipment on the top shelf but the Casabella reaches where that wont.  The Casabella cleaning portion is 20"!!!  The handle is 9.5".  I actually think the Casabella works better when the fits are a little tight.  A little pressure helps the short fibers grab dirt. I have not tried washing it.  I am not sure how that will work out.

Actually the severed finger was a joke.  In the past I really did search for a picture but they were all gory.  I wanted a joke one with a circle and line through it. What I found was a little too much reality.  :no_see:
