SOLD - HiDiamond HDX1 Power Distributor/Conditioner - U.S. sockets) in excellent condition, with very good sound quality. Comes with box (see photo). Selling because I upgraded to the HDX2. This is a factory checked unit, purchased last summer to replace a combination of the Audience aR2p-TOS power conditioner ($2100) and the Furutech e-TP60 AC Power Distributor ($400). Since there are no published reviews of the HDX1, only the HDX2 - both just came out in 2015 - I've copied below two private individual's reviews I solicited via the distributor before purchasing one. They got it right: the HDX1 eliminated brightness from the Audience and brought a more accurate and natural tonal balance to my system, while maintaining the spatial information. The HDX1 retails for $1500, but normally goes for about 1/3 less. HiDiamond power cords and cables have a very good reputation - check Audiogon forums - and the HDX1 is very much in line with those.

Asking $540 shipped to CONUS + PayPal fees (or use family/friends for no fees). Buyer pays shipping to elsewhere. Check my feedback here and on U.S. Audiomart, Audiogon, head-fi and eBay (genegold99).

Private reviews:
" I subbed the [Audience] AR2P-TO [out] for the HDX1.  To start no BS here Gene, TV signal 10x better. Surround sound was shallow and flat, Not  much more than mid range and the  bottom rolled off.  Now have total harmonic range in my Elac Onkyo 5.1 surround system.  Now the audio Is, detailed, musical, inviting and moving.  Who could believe for a simple switch so much could change. "

"Just got the HDX1 and plugged it into my system and a vial of mud was lifted from audio and video which I had heard from 6TSSD by AUDIENCE at $6000.00. For budget minded folks and audiophiles alike, the HDX1 by HIDIAMOND at $1100.00 is an audio steal. Now I hear all the infliction in music and the spoken word missed hearing  in the 6TSSD.  The depth of the full harmonic and tonal range of the HDX1 invites one to listen and tap your feet to the warmth of music that the artist wishes us to hear. Midrange is wide and revealing, much more so natural and detailed which is missed in the 6TSSD. Highs have the  clarity for piano, trumpet, and cymbals without the sometimes harsher high glares heard in the 6TSSD. Bass is full and warm without roll offs, also clear and detailed. To Conclude, the 6TSSD is an expensive good line conditioner, that some how compresses music to have a clean and clear sound, while the reasonable priced HDX1 opens up the whole sound stage inviting one to dance and enjoy the emotions of the music. I have had many conditioners: Furman, Blue Circle, Audience and Furtech. All take a second seat to the HDX1 . Enjoy the day."
