I bought this pair about a little over a month ago and used them for less than a few hours of listening.  I searched for a reputable seller who still had a pair in stock that were made in Austria, whereas all the new stock of K712s are made in Slovakia.  It's debatable whether this matters or not, but hardcore AKG fans still prefer 'made in Austria'.

I planned on keeping these for a long time, but realized I'm not putting in the listening time I thought I would with them... my 2-channel stereo system is taking precedence.

I take immaculate care of my gear -- I'm slightly OCD about it, almost to a fault (I drive people nuts sometimes).  So, yup, here they are -- basically new with all accessories included as well as an unregistered warranty card.

Shipping is on me if purchased within the lower 48.  I'm located in the Syracuse area (upstate NY).
