Friend turned me onto these - "great sound for the$". TDA-8922B Damp used in Russound AirGo speakers -sold by allelectronics as 20watt per channel amp. To get free shipping I had to order at least three and couldn't figure out what to do with three -so ordered four. Set me back $slightly less than $104 including postage ( to be clear -that's 104 bucks for four pieces of stereo 20 watt per channel amps). Over the last week or so I've pulled the covers off so often that I'm beginning to wear out the threads the bolts screw into. What I've landed on is running 'em bridged -65W per chassis into 8ohms per box. Have done the following: 1.) removed AC power cord output cable (cut off blue and brown wires) 2.) removed  speaker output wires -capped off red and black wires so they don't short against something. 3.) Used AC out hole to install a five way binding post negative- green wire soldered to that. 4.) Used speaker out hole to install plus five way binding post -white wire soldered to that. NOTE: Use smaller fibre washer to insulate from chassis -with larger fibre washers inside and outside chassis to deal with larger hole diameter -goal is to make sure neither binding post can short against chassis .5.)  Removed 3.5mm input cable -cut it shorter ( down to 2" or so) -installed RCA jack with appropriate non-conductive washers/insulators to keep jack from shorting against chassis in hole left from input wires.Solder shield to ground of RCA jack -solder red and white wires to center pin. 6.) Put covers back on -Note -power switch on back panel. So -what's not to like ? Compared to the pair of Adcom GFA-545-II that normally power my SEAS A-26's -anemic deep bass. After about 10 min. I no longer notice this.Sweet little amps!

Haven't figured out the pics thing yet. Have only compared it to ridiculously more expensive stuff -not sayin this is audiofool perfection -but silly good/pleasant  for the money and really easy to lightly mod ( had my drill press all ready to go and then realized all the holes I needed were already there). The only problem I had was no lights/no sound initially -power switch on the back panel made a real difference . And actually is entirely usable as delivered - I just have a emotional reaction (nausea/flesh crawling) to 3.5mm plugs ( fallout from making my living repairing stuff long ago).

I'm going to ever-so-gently hijack this thread to mention you are the first person (that I know of) who owns the Seas A-26 speakers. Could you write a couple sentences talking about their sound? I promise to cease and desist with this hijack if you give me a couple sentences.

class D seems to be able to give the wow factor faster than any other technology, and even replicate sound better at lower price points. It's impressive, and I wish for purely the sake of power consumption it were a long term impressionable sound, but I haven't found it to be myself.

Have had the SEAS A-26 for about a year now - have half as'd bi-amped them with several pairs of stereo amps - most successfully with the Adcom GFA-545-II. First off -I am a unrepentant fanboy for the A-25 -sold dozens of them back in the 70's -have owned 7 or 8 pairs purchased used and passed onto friends over the last 20 years and currently use the midwest champion in most ugly category as bench speakers (and another pretty pair I just have 'cause!).Let's say the idea of a modern successor seemed interesting - heard them and bought 'em. Bass and midrange are  a improvement over A-25 originals -tweeter is very pleasant -not as bright as a lot of the contemporary offerings and that had a LOT to do with my pleasure with the music that comes out of the  A-26. A worthy replacement and significant improvement of the A-25 idea. Worth mentioning that these are the first unused speakers to come home with me in 25 years or a little more - I rarely buy anything in audio gear except styli new.
   And that is a picture of what allelectronics puts in a box and sends you -thank you for posting that. To be frank -I had heard several little D/amps on a chip years ago -don't remember what anymore and was not interested/impressed and proceeded to ignore them as a result. Borrowed a pair of Anthem M-1's for a weekend last year and was REALLY impressed !Had a couple of Crown XLS at home for a couple of weeks prior to installing them in a commercial sound system. AirGo's came in about two weeks ago - There has probably been six months or so between Damp visits into my home system. I think it's worth mentioning that in each case (all 3 very different Damps) - they sounded different/wrong? for one or two sides of a LP -then my nunhandles/wetware made some sort of adjustment and that perception was gone -completely. Not the first time /maybe not the last that I've heard something that we apparently aren't measuring via standard testing ? Once my mind has made this adjustment - I can't hear/perceive this fundamental "difference" between conventional A/B amps and Damps doing switches/listening between the two technologies ???
