DIY "upgrade" to LeAmp I?
«

Came across this DIY chip up kit using the latest design from National Semiconductor and the fine folks from DIYAUDIO. Seems like a "drop in" replacement to the Le Amp modules, both the amp board and the rectifier board.

.
Any comments as to wheather this chip is "better" than the old TDA 7294 in the LeAmp?
Thanks,
Guillermo

I would post this in the IRD circle also since Curt of IRD built these and is intimately familiar with the design - they are discontinued by nOrh, but live on as the IRD MB-100s.
