A month or so ago I purchased a set of VMPS ST/Rse speakers from brian. When they were delivered, I was unhappy with the cabinet finish. I contacted Brian on this, and he said that if I was unhappy, to send them back freight collect and he would full refund. Well, I waited a week, then another, and before I knew it, I couldnt part with the sound. I contacted Brian quite a few times on this, and he always called or e-mailed right back, and said send them back or keep them, and he will send me a cabinet rebate check. Well the story goes, cant part with the VMPS sound, and Brian sent me a 400.00 refund check which came yesterday. He managed to turn a very unhappy buyer into a happy Vmps owner. Thanks Brian for the sound which you produce, and keeping your word. By the way, have any black grill cloth? Rob

This was a case where the customer wanted to stain the veneer himself, so we sanded the paint off finished speakers (there were no unfinished cabinets available).  When this didn't work out for the owner we offered to take the speakers back, or give him a rebate towards refinishing, which is what he opted for.
