Just to let you know the BDP1 runs fine with 3 usb powered drives attached these days. I ran out of space on one of my 2 2 TB wd passports. Thought it wouldn't go, but tried anyhow. Attached another 1TB Passport to the front, and all seems well.

Do feel it uses the BDP1 to its limits sometimes. Updating is not always as smooth as it used to be, but that might also be caused by the Beta software, reported to Chris in another thread.

So, besides the silly front cable sticking out of it, the BDP1 serves its age quite well

I just like to remind viewers that not every combination of three drive would work, you still need to stay within the BDP's power requirements.

Didn't state otherwise, but it was just to good a result not to bring to your attention i reckoned.
And, as stated, not completely without its woes.
