Right now, I'm using a USB cable to connect from my computer to my DAC. 

Given that there are wireless HDMI connections, I got to wondering if there are wireless USB connections.

Is there something that will allow my laptop USB output can simply connect wirelessly to my DAC's USB input?

Auralec Arias connects computer, NAS, or streaming sources via ethernet or wireless to a DAC.  But it's bigger, needs AC power, and costs more than you probably had in mind.

Or if you don't mind a little bit of tinkering, a raspberry 2 loaded with Volumio or Moode plus a WiFi dongle for about $50-60 would also work. This is what I use with a cheap hifimediy usb dac. Works surprisingly well since it isolates from power spikes from harddrives and fans in the computer. It's not for everyone but it's fairly easy to set up.
