GMA has a great rep for sound quality.
Omega will certainly be a different experience though, and they are a great choice as they are competitive with top end names like Feastrex, Voxativ, etc at reasonable prices. Some advantages might be increased sensitivity and a flatter impedance curve so they are a good match with SET amplifiers. They don't have tweeters, which are one of the hardest drivers to get right in conventional speakers and they often sound bad unless they cost a fortune. There won't be a mismatch in the dispersion pattern of the tweeter vs the woofer at the xo point, which is a typical issue with 2-ways. Single driver speakers work great nearfield, so you can reduce the effect the room has and get more direct vs reflected sound.
Worth trying imo, and Omega speakers are very popular and retain their resale value pretty well so there's not a ton of financial risk involved.
