Hi James,

Quick question for you regarding the picture of the Mini T's from Munich...do you happen to know the manufacturer of the equipment rack they used?  I am looking for something similar...

Thanks much!
Ari

Hi

Sorry I do not but I will ask - I know they are sold as built not broken down.  I will ask our German distributor.

Looooove your ProAc Tablette. I have the ProAc D18 and they sound great with my 2B SST. I think the D48R with the 7B will be awesome.

I have had my 7BSST2's for six years now and have no desire to replace them.  They are driving a pair of notorious amp killing Infinity 9 Kappas that dip to .8 ohms at 32 hz and again at 340 hz accompanied by nasty phase angles. Doing so is a walk in the park for these amps. When I replaced my bi-amped Adcom GFA 555's with the 7's I thought I bought a new pair of speakers.  In fact the Kappas sound so dramatically better in all aspects that it has been causing me difficulty finding a worthy replacement for them.

All that being said I think many of us view Fremer's review with a little myopia.  If you read the review he expresses nothing but respect for Bryston and gives very high praise to the 7B's.  In fact, it is the only Bryston amp listed as a Stereophile recommended component.  The problem with the review is that Mikey inexplicably decided toward the end of the review to clobber the 7's over the head with his $35K Musical Fidelity Titans which at over (3) times the price was completely irrational.  Yes, he did prefer the Parasound JC-1's over the 7's (a fair comparison) but if you read carefully it was certain aspects of the JC 1 he liked better.  So, my point is maybe it's time for us to forget about Fremer's review, recognize him as an accomplished well respected reviewer and recognize too that the 7BSST2 is a world class audiophile amplifier that will dominate just about any speaker.

Should we assume that Markd51 has a problem with "redheads"???

Looks like Christina's bustier is a tad out of alignment to the right (her right).  Any volunteers to gently inform her of this?  :D

They also drove my Kappa 9's very well. Then the RS1B's, and finally the Genesis 2's. All great speakers and 4 great amps. Now have the servo driven bass columns.
